Sunray Park opens on April 6, 2018 for dropping off bedding,  and other supplies, setting up walkers etc..  (Straw cannot be used for bedding horses.)  Horses may also be brought in for stabling on the 6th.  Make sure that you have a current coggins, negative pyro test (quarterhorses) and current vaccinations (done within 6 months strongly recommended)  for each horse that you bring to the barn area.  A vet certification issued  at the point of departure (your home track) within 72 hours prior to entry at Sunray Park is necessary for each horse coming in from out of state  in order to enter the facilities.   Horses based in New Mexico do not need a Vet Cert to enter the Sunray Park Barn area. Note, you will not be allowed in without the necessary paperwork.  Please review Sunray Park's First Condition Book for the complete list of  requirements necessary for horses to enter the backside. 

The racetrack will be open for training on, Monday, April 9, 2018.  

Track Kitchen will be open for business on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.  

The NMRC will be conducting walkthrough of the facilities on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
