Greetings and Happy Holidays.

The NMRC has called a special meeting for this Friday, December 21, 2018. The meeting will start at 9:00 AM and will cover the following topics:  Threatened or Pending Litigation which will be dealt with in executive session and the 6th Racetrack License.   The subject of litigation has to do with lawsuit filed by Lordsburg over the feasibility study that was commissioned by the NMRC regarding the 6th track.   By now, I would surmise that the NMRC has received an opinion from the AG's office on whether the lawsuit has any merit.  If the lawsuit found to be  of doubtful merit, I think that there is a good chance that the 6th license will be awarded during the meeting.   If the lawsuit is deemed to have merit,  the 6th license will most likely  again tabled.

The meeting will be held at the office of the NMRC located in Albuquerque at 4900 Alameda, Blvd, NE.  For directions call 505.222.0700 or call us here at the Horsemen's office at 505.266.7056.

I shall,  of course,  be at the meeting and will report on the outcome as soon as results are available.
Respectfully,   Pat Bingham
