Multiple horses have been confirmed of being infected with Vesicular Stomatitis in Sandoval County.
Implement a good fly and mosquito program at your barns and check for signs on all horses. Signs can include blisters around the lips, nose or sheath; lesions in the mouth; or ulceration and erosion of the coronary bands. If you suspect your horse of having Vs, call a vet immediately.
